Apparently, March turned into April ten days ago. You’d never know it by how cold it’s been lately. It’s still below zero most days. Sigh.
Anyway, here’s what I was up to in March:

I’m so happy that March is finally here. Although we’re expected some snow today, it still feels like the end of winter is near. This weekend, I’m trying to get my receipts in order to do my taxes (ugh) and I’m going to watch some curling tonight.

I’ve started to paint my kitchen red. I’m loving how it’s looking so far. Such a relief considering how dark the colour is. It’s a bit scary to paint the first stripe. I can’t wait to show you!
Anyway, here’s what I was up to in January:
Coffee on New Year’s Day! // Mittens in progress. Now frogged because I don’t like how they turned out. The yarn is so pretty though. // Enjoying the gorgeous big blue Manitoba sky // Working on Missoni blanket again. I hope you’re all having a lovely weekend. I’ve been asked to help out on my friend’s curling team tonight. Very nervous since I’ve never curled before. Do I need my own broom? What do I wear? lol I’m not really sure how I can grow up in Manitoba and never thrown a rock before but there you have it.
Anyway, here’s what I was up to in December:
Loving the beautiful pastel sunsets we get in the winter // Decorated my front window based on a pin I can no longer find. 😦 // Latest Glossybox // First chocolate of the advent calendar. Still not sure what it’s meant to be // New (to me) dining table & chairs – post here // Working on baby blanket // Baby blanket complete – pattern here // Working on term paper // Hot chocolate! // Very cute owl in my parents’ front yard // University // Another pretty day full of hoar frost // More blue skies // Christmas morning cinnamon buns – recipe here // Red velvet trifle inspired by this pin (used box red velvet mix instead of madelines & whipped cream instead of cream cheese & marscapone) // My kobo smiling

I have so many posts stored up thanks to losing my camera usb cord. I thought I would have found it but no such luck. I’m going to try and find a reasonable substitute. It’s very frustrating!!
Anyway, here’s what I was up to this month:
Starbucks red cups arrive! // Reading Hans Christian Andersen for my fairy tale class // Robbie’s new album (OBSESSED!) // Drinking a gorgeous London Fog // Watching the snow come down for the first time this year // The first of many cold days // Funny note left by neighbour (not for me I swear!) // Sprinkles!! // Reading Russian Fairy Tales for aforementioned class // Lovely sunset // Decorating my living room window // November’s Glossybox!

Wow! I might actually make it past the first month!!
January 15// Finished cable knit pillow. I admit that it’s a bit of a cop out.
January 16 // I stand by the fact that The Bachelor is the funniest show on tv. However, I can’t get through the second hour without consuming alcohol. It’s just too much to ask of a person. They’ve just announced that they’re doing a Canadian version. God help us all.
January 17 // It was another late night meeting so I picked up a ready made pizza to pop in the oven when I got home. Not bad at all.
January 18// Salsa for Splurge!
January 19 // Reading through some of my magazines: Maclean’s and AFP Philanthropy
January 20// Frost on the windows of my car.
January 21 // Sticky Toffee Pudding & vanilla ice cream. Leftover from Splurge.
